BAFTA 2022: il trionfo di Dune e Il potere del cane

Ieri sera si è svolta al Royal Albert Hall di Londra la cerimonia di premiazione dei BAFTA 2022, i premi britannici più prestigiosi consegnati dalla British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Protagonista indiscusso della serata è stato Dune. Il film di  Denis Villeneuve ha conquistato tutti i premi tecnici tranne il miglior montaggio, rubato da No time to Die.

Come ai Critics Choice Awards, Il potere del cane si porta a casa i premi come miglior film e miglior regia, mentre Will Smith e Joanna Scanlan conquistano i premi come miglior attore per Una famiglia vincente – King Richard e miglior attrice per After Love.

Le pellicole Belfast e Licorice Pizza trionfano ai Bafta 2022 come miglior film britannico e miglior sceneggiatura originale. I segni del cuore ottiene invece due premi: Miglior sceneggiatura non originale e miglior attore non protagonista per Troy Kotsur, già vincitore del medesimo premio agli Independent Spirit Awards 2022.
