Great news for all fans of Loki, the God of Mischief is coming back on all screens on October 6 this year! Marvel announced it by releasing the trailer and a new poster of the highly anticipated second season. As always will be available on the streaming platform Disney Plus. But let’s analyze what we know.
Between time jumps and investigations
“I’ve been pulled through time between the past and the present, if what i saw is true there’s nothing standing between this word and total distruction” said Loki in the trailer. In the new season along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and old characters, Loki navigates into an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer and Miss Minutes to understand what it means to have free will and a glorious purpose.
The cast of Loki season 2
In Loki season 2 we find in the cast Tom Hiddleston as the protagonist , Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie and Owen Wilson again as Mobius. Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Renslayer), Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), Neil Ellice (Hunter D-90), Eugene Cordero (Hunter K-5E) and Tara Strong (who double Miss Minutes) also return. New cast additions include Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once) as a character called OB, Rafael Casal (Blindspotting), Kate Dickie (Inside Man) and Liz Carr (Silent Witness).
The episodes will be 6, as in the first season. They will be directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani, while Eric Martin figures as head writer. Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin R. Wright, Tom Hiddleston, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Eric Martin and Michael Waldron are the executive producers, alongside Trevor Waterson in the role of co-executive producer.
